About

Dr. George Pan is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician. He is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He specializes in treating pain conditions that have not responded to conservative therapy with minimally invasive procedures and an approach that combines various groups of medications—multimodal analgesic therapies—for pain relief. Some of these procedures include fluoroscopic guided injections, rhizotomy, neurolysis, spinal cord stimulation, and kyphoplasty. Dr. Pan most commonly treats patients with neck pain, back pain, joint pain, or pain related to sciatica. A few of the most commonly performed procedures include steroid injections, facet medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and joint injections.

Dr. Pan is from Atlanta, Georgia. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and completed his undergraduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He completed a surgical internship at Loma Linda University Medical Center and his residency in anesthesiology at Emory University in Atlanta. He finished his subspecialty training in pain medicine at UCLA. He was an assistant professor at UCLA for many years and authored several publications including research papers, book chapters, and clinical proceedings.
