Dr. Brian Lai

Dr. Lai is originally from New York City where he attended Stuyvesant High School, one of the elite high schools in the country. He majored in Biophysical Chemistry at Dartmouth College. He went on to attain his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the Drexel University College of Medicine. He trained in Anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and completed his Pain Medicine Fellowship at UCLA.
The driving force for his deep interest in Pain Medicine stems from his desire to help people improve the quality of their lives. Some of Dr. Lai’s treatment options include the use of epidurals, nerve injections, radiofrequency ablation, joint injections, spinal cord stimulation and the use of other minimally invasive procedures to aid in the treatment of chronic spine conditions, neuropathies, joint conditions, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and cancer pain. Dr. Lai speaks Spanish, Mandarin and Taiwanese.
